Web of Conferences offers a complete range of editorial services for the publication and distribution of conference proceedings. These services are suitable to any conference, whatever the number of participants and the type of documents supplied.
Document processing
Flexibility: There are no restrictions as to the size and format of the contributions. You decide on the type of document you want to archive. The choice spans from text files to any other type of electronic document such as slides, images, videos of presentations, posters, etc.
Editorial services: For the text files, you may provide us with print-ready PDF files or use our editorial service for the supervision of the production. An editorial secretary will check the manuscript and monitor the job. She will create quality layouts and print-ready files compatible with electronic publication.
Online publication
Own website: Each conference proceedings are published at a website dedicated to the event, with its own URL. The conference websites also archive the main contents and information concerning the meeting (aims and scope, organizing committees, sponsors…)
Open-access: There is free access to all documents (on request, we can also set up fee-paying solutions and restricted access).
Longevity: All conference websites are hosted, maintained and updated for an unlimited time.
Services available on the conference websites
Article identification using DOI® (Digital Object Identifier). A DOI is a reference attributed to an electronic document accessible on the web. This reference gives a unique and permanent access to the document.
Citation linking to other publishers using CrossRef®. CrossRef operates a cross-publisher citation linking system that allows a researcher to click on a reference citation on a publisher's platform and link directly to the cited content on another publisher's platform.
Intuitive search engine that enables users to perform intuitive searches in full-text, authors, affiliation, titles or subtitles, abstracts and references.
Links to social bookmarking sites (Bibsonomy, CiteULike, Connotea, Del.icio.us, Digg and Facebook).
Access to detailed statistical analyses.
Additional options
Printed options: We offer a range of printing and CD/DVD publishing options.
Conference series: Web of Conferences provides the capability of creating series by placing all the proceedings and main information of a learned society, research centre, scientific association or recurring event on a single website.
Archiving: We can take your paper archives and publish their contents online.
Conference promotion: We can provide conference promotion in the EDP Sciences journals and websites.
